Yesterday at WWDC, Apple announced the next OS in its line, named Snow Leopard. OS X Snow Leopard will focus mainly on security and improvements and is said to reduce the operating systems footprint, giving your Mac more room and memory to do what you want it to do. OS X Snow Leopard was also seeded to developers to begin testing and application development. More can be found at the official site here.

Once Again, Another ‘Leaked’ iPhone Picture [Updated]
Posted in Apple with tags 3G iPhone, Apple, iPhone, iPhone Unboxed, NDA iPhone on June 8, 2008 by JohnathonSo here we go again. Web-Mobile.net (site in French) has posted another picture claiming it to be the 3G iPhone.
Web-Mobile.net is also claiming that they will be posting a video.
From Web-Mobile.net:
“Update: Go on June 9 at 17:30 for a video of the iPhone EXCLUSIVE 2!”
Update: I got to looking at this picture, and decided its more than likely a fake. If you look closely at the side/bottom of the phone, it clearly has the old back. This goes against the other pictures and rumors we are seeing.
The NDA iPhone Update

Posted in Apple with tags 3G iPhone, 3G iPhone Unboxed, Apple, iPhone on June 7, 2008 by JohnathonI decided I’d put the three four five pictures going around the internet here so I’m not sending you all about. If you want to check out the discussions, the link are in previous posts. Here’s the story so far, supposedly a vendor received this box with the NDA and shared it with the community.
A little while later the unknown person decides to break the NDA and releases this shot.
Then, Saturday afternoon, websites start receiving this photograph.
Now the question is, are these real or is someone spending a lot of time in Photoshop? No one will really know until Monday, but if more pictures show up, I’ll keep you informed.
Update: Another picture has been posted.
Update 2: Just a short while ago, another picture was released. The site is also claiming that they will be posting a video soon.

Posted in Apple, Personal with tags blogging, iPhone, Personal, photography, Update on June 7, 2008 by JohnathonHere’s an update on some things. The weather has been crappy. Too crappy for any good photography, so I haven’t posted anything for a few days. Due to the cruddy weather, I’m stuck inside, surfing the internet and digging around through iPhone rumors. Hopefully this coming week will be more cooperative and I can get out shooting again. And maybe pick up that new iPhone!
Leaked iPhone Photos
Posted in Apple with tags Apple, iPhone, Spy Shot, Crunchgear, Leaked, Rumor, 3G iPhone on June 7, 2008 by JohnathonSo Crunchgear is claiming to have some screen shots of the new iPhone. You can check them out here. Now if you look, you can clearly see they are opened in Photoshop. A lot of people are saying the pictures are fake because of this, but Crunchgear posted photos of the Nano last update, which were also in an editing program, and they turned out to be real. I’m not sure if they are real or fake, but they do look good! Head over to Crunchgear’s article for more!

WWDC ‘08
Posted in Apple with tags Apple, MacRumors, WWDC on June 5, 2008 by JohnathonWith Apple’s WWDC just around the corner, the rumor mills are running at full capacity. WIll it be a new iPhone, a revision of a current computer, or maybe an entirely new product? Only Apple knows, and we will know for sure come Monday. If you are interested in the event, MacRumors will be covering the event live via their website. Due to Apple’s strict video policy, the only way to cover the event is to give us text based updates. In the past they have usually got a few photos up as well. The live site for the event can be found here. The event starts at 10:00 am this coming Monday (June 9th).
